It’s already been one week since the beginning of the HarryPotter-a-thon! WHAT!?
Well, I have to say that my first week was unfortunately not great… I have a reason, though! My Harry Potter books are at my mom’s place and I only got there (or, well, here!) on Wednesday. So that’s when I actually started reading the first book.
So until now I have read up to page 180 from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Which is about half of the book. Which is not great.
If I still want to read at least until book #5 I seriously have to pick up the pace! Hope I can do it! π
I haven’t made a post yet, I think mine will go up tomorrow, but so far I am halfway through book 3 and plan to be a chunk into book 4 by the end of the day!!
I also was able to watch the first movie so far in the book series. I hope to watch Chamber of Secrets tonight π I am making my boyfriend watch them with me since he hasn’t watched them at all. He is scared of the books, so I told him he can atleast watch the movies with me to understand why I love it all so much!
You can catch up! I have faith in you!! Don’t give up!!
Hopefully I will have my post up tomorrow of my progress!!

WOW! You’re doing SO good!!!! Congrats! I hope your boyfriend likes the movies too! Keep going! I’ll definitely try to catch up! π
I’m trying to read all of the seven books and the 3 little hogwarts library books too. So I had to plan out how much I needed to read everyday in order to make it through all of them. It’s like 150 pages a day, so I’m doing all I can to do nothing but read everyday, lol! It’s a lot of work, but Harry is worth it π
Yeah… I probably should have organized it better for myself too! I try to read as much as possible, but haven’t had a lot of time in these past days!
I have been sick and I could really use a Harry Potter-a-thon about now. I think that might be better than any medicine!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Jen @ YA Romantics
Lol! Maybe you’re right! Try reading one! Feel better soon! π
Wow I couldn’t imagine trying to complete a Harry Potter read-a-thon. The books are so thick! Sometimes I just get wary when all the books in a series are thick. I did really enjoy the seventh book though (I read it when I was impatient for the seventh movie haha). I’m reading through the Iron Fey series right now and loving it!
Yes, it can be quite intimidating! But, I love those books! I want to read the iron fey series soon as well!
You can do it π Once the wizarding world sucks you in, it would take a lot of magic to get out.
It’s true! After you start getting into it, it’s impossible to get out! Thanks for the encouragement!
