Hi guys and welcome to book blog news! This is a feature I post every Sunday in which I tell what has happened in the book blogging world in the past week. It was inspired by Elizziebooks‘ “Booktube News”.
So grab a cup of coffee and let’s see which were some of the most interesting things going on.
Rachel over at Parajunkee wrote a post on how to create the perfect “Grab my Button”. From designing to formating to giving tricks, everything you need to create your own “Grab my Button” is there!
Lucy from Queen of Contemporary wrote about how she has an obsession of having the same books ore than once. As she says, she has multiple copies of the same book sometimes, but still they’re all important to her. Hop over to her blog to see how she analyzes herself.
Charlotte over at Gupsy Reviews wrote a post about her photoshop story. She is using photoshop for a long time now and shows us how her pictures have changed throughout those years. Really good motivation if you’re starting with photoshop now and feel like you can’t do a descent picture yet!
There’s a really funny post on Verbosity Book Reviews about rating books. Kelsey uses some GIFs to show us what book ratings mean!
Speaking of GIFs, Adam Silvera from the Pub(lishing) Crawl wrote a post comparing GIF reviews and normal reviews. He definitely prefers reviews without GIFs and explains why he thinks those actually have a stronger impact.
P.E. over at the Sirenic Codex found some researches showing that half of the people who buy Young Adult books are actually adults. Which triggers the question ?why don’t more teens read YA?”, that is exactly the subject of her post. Go over there to read more on the subject.
